Scriptorium:

Open Scriptorium from 9:30 till 12:00 Join Ealdormere’s scribal community for an informal calligraphy and illumination workshop and social gathering. This is a chance to try your hand at various materials and techniques and learn as well as to share your knowledge and skills. Make use of the provided materials or bring your own project to work on your own projects. Mistress Marioun (kathygolightly1@aim.com) will host this Scriptorium and welcomes scribes of any skill level to join in. This scriptorium will feature a chance to make period paint from pigment. (Due to the hazard of working with powdered pigment anyone under twelve years of age will be able to participate but will not be able to make paint.)

Mead Tasting Competition: 

Many of our people make yummy, yummy mead, and as per our tradition there will be a mead competition for any who wish to enter.

Preserves Competition: 

Many of our folks make delicious preserves, so we invite you to come and share, and maybe even win a prize!
